This was done on 14″ x 17″ bristol vellum, with charcoal pastel. It was done for Ms. Elizabeth Worsham, for the low price of $25.
Elizabeth loves Disneyland…..and I mean LOVES. So what better way to decorate than with an art piece of Disneyland castle! If you would like to request a piece, I charge $35 for large size, $25 for medium-large size, $20 for medium size, and $15 for small size. In other words, CHEAP!

You can send me your request at mbowerman256@gmail.com

This is a piece I’m working on while I work on a picture of Disneyland castle. Oddly enough, this piece is inspired by Jonah chapter 1. Can you figure out how?

Title: Open Space

Price: $25

Medium: Acrylic Paint

Dimensions: 16″ x 20″ canvas

This painting I did after playing the videogame Red Dead Redemption (yes, laugh it up.) As I played, I thought, “It would have been so cool to be able to wander through all that open space.” Then, I thought how God had made the universe, and how vast it is. I was instantly inspired to do a piece on open space and how beautiful it can be, hence why this painting is very simple.

Here is a picture I’m doing for my church youth group. The theme is “How He Loves Us…” As I did this piece, I kept in my mind the line “And Heaven meets earth like a sloppy, wet kiss; my heart beats violently inside my chest” (from the song by Mr. McMillan). I hope to have at least 7 more pics on the way

This is something I am currently working on. I’m going to do it in charcoal. It was inspired by my lovely wife, who was playing while I sketched this.

How He Loves Us: Roads

Title: Roads
Medium: Ink
Dimensions: 9″ x 12″ medium textured paper
Donated to OB Youth Group

This piece is called Roads because it reflects the many “roads” we encounter throughout our lives; all the choices, and factors revolving around those choices we come across. I did this piece in ink, and did it using small lines because it resembles the fact that we are given little pieces of the big picture. But, if we step back, and trust God, we will be able to see more clearly what He has in store for us and what roads we should take

Title: Marked
Medium: Charcoal
Dimensions: 9″ x 12″ medium textured paper
Donated to OB Youth Group

This piece was done with charcoal, both black and white. I did it in black and white to symbolize that Christ’s mark in my life isn’t blurry or vague, but rather, should prevail above everything else. The cross scar resembles His work He did to take my sin upon Himself. And the blood shows that He paid for my sin with His own blood. I am marked.
